If any BF Goodrich, Kormoran or ACCELLERA car tyre/s, fitted only by Discount Tyres, Blanchardstown, D15, is accidentally damaged beyond repair within 24 months of purchase, then the cost of replacement tyre or tyres, as is laid out in the next column.We will need to register you onto our system.

THE MAIN AIM OF OUR POLICY, IS TO HELP OUR CUSTOMERS GET THROUGH THESE HARD ECONOMIC TIMES AND help them BUY better quality, SAFE and RELIABLE TYRES. And NOT DANGEROUS TYRES SOLD BY UNTRAINED DEALERS.
• Note: tyres are only covered if they are purchased from Discount Tyres, Blanchardstown, D15.
• 1. An original invoice, from Discount Tyres, for the purchase of these tyres must be kept displaying the purchase of the tyre/s from our company and must be presented upon lodging a claim under our policy. We suggest you keep this voucher in your glove-box with your service log book.
• 2. Tyres must have at least 2 mm of tread, and legal.
• 3. Tyres must be Inspected by ourselves at 7,500km, 15,000km and then every 10,000km for the life of the tyre or upto 2 years. Your receipt will be stamped. The policy will not be valid, if you fail to have the tyres checked at these intervals.
• 4. if the tyre you require is not available, a similar tyre will be fitted.
• 5. once a tyre is replaced under the poilcy, that tyre is no longer covered.
• 7. we reserve the right to inspect damaged tyres before providing a discounted replacement tyre.
• 6. If we suspect a tyre has been damaged maliciously, it will be sent back to the manufacturer for an official written report. This will take upto 4 weeks for a written reply and you can either have your spare fitted or purchase a new tyre at full retail price, on the day, while awaiting the decision.
• 8. We accept no responsibility for injury to persons or damage to vehicle as a result of our tyres being damaged.
• 9. To the extent permitted by law, liabilities for consequential damages are disclaimed. In no case
shall Discount Tyres's liability exceed the original cost of the purchased tyres.
• 10. Tyres covered are BFGoodrich car tyres (NO VAN OR 4X4) upto and including 17". Kormoran car tyres (NO VAN OR 4X4) upto and including 17". Accellera Car and SUV tyres upto and including 20".
• From 0 - 3 months - retail price less 50%
• From 3 - 6 months - retail price less 25%
• From 6 - 12 months - retail price less 15%
• From 12 - 24 months - retail price less 10%
• 50% off Puncture Repairs.
NOTE: Tyres that can be safely repaired, will be repaired and not replaced under this policy. If a car hits a pot hole, etc, it’s recommended to have the alignment checked free by ourselves.
•note: Tyres will not be covered by this Warranty if the damage is caused by:
• an act of vandalism, theft, wilful abuse or neglect.
• use in motorsport and non tarmac roads.
• use in other than normal driving conditions or in commercial situations such as taxis, hire cars, DRIVING INSTRUCTOR, etc.
• as a result of improper use or operation, including without limitation improper inflation
pressure, overloading, use of an improper rim, vehicle misalignment, tyre/wheel assembly/
imbalance or other vehicle conditions, defects or characteristics, worn suspension components,
improper mounting or demouting, misuse, misapplication, negligence, tyre spinning, tyre chain
damage, chemical contamination (such as sealers, fillers, etc), fire or other externally generated
heat, water or other material trapped inside the tyre during mounting, tyre alteration, racing
or competition use, failure to rotate properly or regularly, or to properly maintain tyres. tyres repaired with plugs.
