Certain makes of tyre are recommended by BMW for each tyre size. They are marked with a clearly visible BMW designation star * on the sidewall of the tyre.
When properly used, these tyres meet the highest standards in terms of safety and handling characteristics.
Why pay a lot more in your BMW garage, for EXACTLY the same tyre, but with less benefits? They sell cars, but we are the recommended tyre technicians by the tyre companies.

Runflat tyre repair specialists:
Don’t waste your money buying a new tyre just because you have a puncture. Let us check it
first, if it is safe to repair,
WE WILL REPAIR IT. For your own safety, if the tyre has been driven flat or with zero pressure for more than a few miles, then it will need to be replaced.
If a RUN FLAT TYRE has a puncture, the vehicle can still cover a distance of up to 250 kilometres (depending on load and vehicle) at a maximum speed of 80km/h. This is achieved by a special reinforced side wall and a new type of extremely heat-resistant rubber compound. A reinforced bead core allows the tyre to sit safely on the rim, even when there is a total loss of air pressure.
ROBERT fERGUSON, MD - Let me start first by saying that this a touchy subject and it has been debated over and over again. While there are many people that love the run-flat tyres on their BMWs, there are plenty of others that are absolutely against them and consider the normal tyres as being a better choice.
All of BMW vehicles that use Run-flat technology, have their suspension and braking components set up to accommodate the harder Run-flat tyres. Should you decide to change to non Run-flats, it may alter the driving and handling characteristics of your vehicle. It is for this reason that this modification is not recommended by BMW as a manufacturer.
However, we fit many standard tyres to customers BMW's. You will additionally need to purchase either a spare wheel with jack and brace set or a mobility kit which can be ordered from OURSELVES. If you buy a Michelin or BFGOODRICH tyre, you will have a free 2 year tyre protection cover called tyreassist.
